Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with patience and empathy
• Team up with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure superior diagnostic quality
• Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of new advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or an allied health field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
