Site Civil Coordinator/EIT

HDR currently seeking a Site Civil EIT/Coordinator to support our Building Engineering Services Group, consisting of core services of Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Site Civil Engineering. The role involves design of facility related sites for diverse markets. Responsibilities Assist on tasks associated with design and plan production for site development projects (layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, site utilities, etc.). Develop conceptual site layouts that are compliant with all jurisdictional requirements. Help prepare site civil engineering calculations in support of the site development (stormwater pond sizing, culvert and pipe capacity analysis, hydrology calculations, etc.). Coordinate with jurisdictional authority to determine design and submittal requirements and determine design solutions. Perform administrative tasks associated with preparation of specifications and contract documents, and permit submittals. Attend and contribute to client meetings. Coordinate with subconsultants for support and design services. Embrace continuous learning and professional growth in site civil design. Thrive in a collaborative team environment. Be independent in pursuing information and solutions. Communicate effectively with managers and team members. Mentor junior staff and delegate appropriate tasks. Manage time and organization of multiple tasks/projects. Perform other duties as required. Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Familiarity with CAD software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and specialty site civil engineering software (e.g., HydroCAD, Autodesk Hydraflow Extensions, etc.) as required. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Bluebeam Revu.
