Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst (26141643) Responsibilities Work directly with business program managers and Legislative Branch staff to analyze and understand business operations and processes. Develop business case justifications for technology advances and expenditures based on that understanding. Oversee the analysis, development, implementation, and maintenance of medium- and large-scale information systems. Manage and/or participate in IT projects, and coordinate training to improve technical competence of staff. Collaborate with the Operations Services Manager to ensure technology change recommendations fit the existing or planned IT infrastructure. Assist Information Services staff in resolving functional users’ technical support needs. Report to the Operations Services Manager and exercise team lead supervision for projects undertaken. Work in a non‑partisan position. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 6 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent amount of education and experience. Project Management Professional (or equivalent) certification preferred. Salary 92,569.00 - 108,906.00 per year Telework Eligibility Telework eligible on a hybrid basis; employee must reside in the Helena area and be able to come into the office on a routine basis. Full‑time telework is not available; schedule must be supervisor approved.
