Work Environment

You will work primarily onsite within our well-equipped facility, which includes modern exam rooms and administrative offices. As in any clinical setting, you may encounter communicable diseases and must be aware of the health protocols necessary to protect both yourself and our patients. The physical demands of the job include activities such as walking, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as the occasional lifting of supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations to identify abnormal findings and assess skin conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including skin biopsies and lab work, to inform treatment decisions.
• Create individualized treatment plans that encompass both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical interventions, taking into account patient preferences and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making necessary adjustments to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about their skin conditions and treatment options, promoting understanding and compliance through clear communication.
• Perform dermatological procedures within your scope of practice, such as lesional excisions, cryotherapy, and other in-office interventions.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with our team of dermatologists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and facilitate joint treatment approaches when suitable.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with payer performance measures and quality standards to enhance practice efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric individuals, presenting a diverse array of dermatological concerns, including but not limited to skin cancers, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and cosmetic enhancements. Qualifications

• A diploma from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant along with a valid medical license.
• Active CPR certification.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with standard electronic health record systems and office technology.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in dermatology or a related field is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Flawless Visage Specialists offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and performance.
