Job Description
We're looking for a Lead Data Architect to design and evolve a modern cloud data platform supporting investment and analytics workflows. This role combines hands-on architecture with strategic leadership and is ideal for someone who has successfully led enterprise data modernization initiatives.You'll partner with business and technical teams to shape data strategy, guide platform decisions, and build scalable solutions that support critical decision-making. This is a highly visible role requiring both technical depth and the ability to influence stakeholders.What You'll DoArchitect scalable cloud data platforms for analytics and operational useDesign enterprise data models and data pipelinesLead modernization of legacy data environmentsEvaluate and integrate data vendors and platformsPartner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical architectureEstablish architecture standards, governance, and best practicesMentor engineers and elevate technical capabilities across teamsDrive adoption of modern data tools and frameworksRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or platform engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platformExperience designing and implementing enterprise data architecturesProven track record leading modernization or transformation initiativesStrong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience working with complex or high-volume data environmentsPreferred ExperienceExposure to financial, investment, or analytical data ecosystemsExperience integrating market or enterprise data vendors (FactSet, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.)Familiarity with front office or operational analytics workflowsExperience with dbt, orchestration tools, or modern data stack frameworksVendor/platform evaluation or selection experienceBackground mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
