Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing mental health professionals the flexibility to work from the comfort of their home while still engaging with a diverse patient population. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status, utilizing standardized tools to pinpoint specific issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that address their personal goals and challenges.

• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge and strategies to support recovery and well-being.

• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health practices, applying evidence-based strategies in your work with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a varied clientele, including adults experiencing mental health issues such as PTSD, stress-related disorders, and major depressive disorders. By providing culturally competent care, you will address the specific needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering them a safe space to explore their mental health challenges and achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• A valid New York State license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC is essential for this role.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills as well as proficiency in using telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within a community health or similar setting.
