Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description Job Description We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our Canonsburg headquarters. In support of our ongoing business growth, this role will serve as the primary Accounts Payable processor as well as an accounting resource, with responsibilities across a variety of accounting functions. Responsibilities include: Review and process incoming payables; communicate with vendors, and research payables discrepancies or issues Process the weekly check run Assist with PNC Credit Card journal entry posting Serve as a backup to accounts receivable Provide overall accounting support as needed What would make you a great fit: An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent experience) Minimum two-years accounts payable or general accounting experience Construction accounting experience is ideal Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience with Sage 100 Contractor, or similar accounting systems Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package, 401k, comprehensive medical/ dental/ vision plan, and paid time off.
