About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing organization in the Pittsburgh area to identify a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and assisting with reporting activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, has strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger transactions
  
  
• The Bookkeeper will process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  
  
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
  
  
• Prepare and record journal entries as needed
  
  
• Manage invoicing, payment tracking, and collections efforts
  
  
• The Bookkeeper will assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  
  
• Generate financial reports and provide supporting documentation for management
  
  
• The Bookkeeper will maintain organized accounting files and ensure data accuracy
  
  

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  
  
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
  
  
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
  
  
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping
  
  
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
  
  
• Experience supporting accounting operations for a small to mid-sized business is a plus
