Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic assessments, and develop personalized care strategies
• Identify and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues either independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on credentials)
• Provide education to patients and families on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engage in patient follow-ups and manage chronic healthcare needs
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensing and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner certification in the state of Idaho
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C through AANP or ANCC) or related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
