The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex clinical needs and be comfortable performing specialized nursing procedures independently.Required Clinical ExperienceCandidates must have hands-on experience with:Straight catheterizationsEnteral feedingsBaclofen pump managementResponsibilitiesProvide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of careAssess patient condition and monitor for changes in health statusUtilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment to address patient needs and ensure quality outcomesAdminister treatments, medications, and specialized nursing procedures within the LVN/LPN scope of practicePerform and manage enteral feeding regimens and catheterization procedures as requiredMonitor and maintain Baclofen pump therapy according to physician orders and established protocolsCommunicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and the care team regarding patient status and care needsMaintain accurate, detailed, and timely clinical documentationFollow all agency policies, procedures, infection control standards, and nursing practice regulationsPromote patient safety, dignity, comfort, and independence in the home environmentTreat patients, families, caregivers, and team members with professionalism, courtesy, and respectQualificationsCurrent, unencumbered Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licenseMinimum one (1) year of nursing experience requiredThree (3) or more years of nursing experience preferredCurrent BLS/CPR certificationNegative TB skin test or chest X-ray, as requiredValid Texas driver's licenseCurrent automobile insuranceReliable transportationPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull throughout the workdayAbility to safely assist with patient mobility and transfersAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for patient careJoin Our TeamIf you're a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse seeking a meaningful one-on-one patient care opportunity with a supportive team and consistent schedule, we'd love to hear from you.
