As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Ocala, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor pedestrian and vehicle movement at the location, assist with visitor and contractor access procedures, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
