Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Ohio
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions for students with varying needs
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
• Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
• Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance students’ learning and participation
• Collaborate with teaching staff, counselors, and families to develop IEP goals and strategies
• Provide direct therapy, consultation, and training to support functional independence in the classroom and school routines
• Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt and modify therapy approaches as needed to meet student goals and maximize outcomes
