TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience required. License: Must hold a current nursing license. Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred. Must-Have: MUST HAVE orthopedic work experience. Traveler Experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers with Epic experience. Locals accepted with rate difference. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO may lead to cancellation. The unit requires patients requiring pain management. A fast-paced unit with a patient population that includes orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patients. Expected ratios are 5-6 patients per nurse, with possible flexibility to 7:1 in extreme cases. Every other weekend commitment is required. If a nurse calls out on a weekend, they will be required to make that time up on a weekend. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. The unit handles patients with various diagnoses, including post-surgical and orthopedic cases. This position may require floating to other medical-surgical units within the facility based on staffing needs.
