- Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
- Measuring and mixing ingredients
- Preparing sauces, dressings, or simple dishes
- Portioning meats and other ingredients
- Stocking kitchen stations
- Labeling and storing food properly
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas
- Following food safety and sanitation rules
