Job Title: CICU RN Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty; 18 months considered under specific conditions. License: Registered Nurse license required (state or compact; no temporary licenses accepted) Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIH or Red Cross certification required; PALS preferred if working in pediatric unit. Must-Have: Willingness to float to other units and hospitals; flexibility for scheduled holidays and every other weekend. Description: The position involves providing complex monitoring and treatment for adult cardiac patients in a high-acuity unit. Patients are received from various care areas requiring specialized cardiac care. Nurses must demonstrate high levels of professional competency. Collaboration with all disciplines of the care team is essential to achieving optimal patient outcomes.
