NDT Technician

DutiesOperate various testing equipment to perform nondestructive tests on ammunition and ammunition components.Calculate equipment settings and tolerance to obtain desired/required special resolution, contrast, sensitivity and magnification.Perform trial exposures for technique development and evaluation of test.Perform radiographic and other nondestructive testing on ammunition, ammunition components and other explosives to determine functionality and acceptability.Develop identification system for tracking and marking material and identifying accept/reject determination.Develop test procedures and train other radiographers.
