Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Lake Forest, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Fri 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Sat 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Sun 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aviation technology and aerospace-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership, Allied Universal management, and appropriate emergency personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Possession of a guard card/license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
