As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time / Swing Shift Pay Rate $22.39 / Hour Job Schedule Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thu: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations. Assist with security-related support during medical facility operations, including directing foot traffic, providing information, and communicating with site contacts during routine and unusual events. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
