As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:00 PM - 08:30 PMSun12:00 PM - 08:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, documenting visitor activity, and reporting access concerns to site leadership. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
