Location: Live with 45mins travel from Northampton Salary: £40,000 FTE plus a generous bonus scheme and benefits Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week About the role The Renewables Electrician will install EV chargers, Solar PV systems, battery storage and innovative products for new build housing developers, helping the UK’s largest solar installer meet carbon reduction targets. The role requires safe, efficient installation of PV systems (inverters and generation meters), timely submission of paperwork, and adherence to MCS and Health, Safety and Quality standards. Responsibilities • Install PV systems and associated electrical components. • Submit accurate and timely paperwork for each installation. • Ensure compliance with MCS, Health, Safety, and Quality standards. • Work safely in a controlled environment with regular site travel and occasional overnight stays. • Use Apps to complete certifications and reports. • Maintain excellent customer service and high quality standards. About you Previous experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds is required. You should have strong communication skills, reliability, and a team‑oriented attitude. Time‑keeping and flexibility in working arrangements are essential. A desire to prioritize client needs and continuous skill development is valued.
