Contract Manager

Industry leader in defense and space manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Contracts & Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance and U.S. Government contracting activities within a growing defense-industry organization in the Greater York County, South Carolina area. Reporting to senior leadership, this hands-on role will manage contract lifecycle activities, strengthen compliance processes, and serve as a trusted advisor across the business. Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of U.S. Government contracts and subcontracts, including solicitations, proposals, negotiations, modifications, administration, risk management, and closeout. Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and other applicable federal and customer requirements; translate requirements into practical policies, processes, and controls. Maintain and continuously improve the company's compliance program, including policies, obligation tracking, records, certifications, disclosures, flow-downs, and audit readiness. Qualifications 10+ years of contracts and compliance experience in the U.S. defense industry, including experience supporting Department of Defense customers and working with international defense suppliers/customers. Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, government contracting processes, cybersecurity/CUI requirements, and related compliance systems; experience with contract negotiation and subcontract management. Security clearance eligible with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills; comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, small-business environment with minimal oversight. #J-18808-Ljbffr
