Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.55 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures by verifying authorization, providing directions, and documenting required entries and incidents. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. Possess at least one year of security-related experience. Possess a college degree. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
