Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services to K-12th grade students in a flexible, per diem role close to Hayes, VA. As an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support students’ growth and success by conducting timely evaluations and offering effective interventions designed to help them reach their full potential in the school setting.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license is required
• Prior experience in a school-based environment or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to independently manage evaluations, documentation, and recommendations
• Compassionate, student-centered approach

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform approximately 5-10 occupational therapy evaluations per academic year for K-12th grade students
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
• Provide recommendations to school teams to foster student participation and success in academic and functional aspects of school life
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed, sharing expertise and supporting a positive educational environment
