About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Location

Florence, SC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital within scope of practice, including labor and delivery
• Deliver critical care respiratory support in a high-acuity inpatient environment
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Respond to facility emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required — CRT credentials are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers considered for night shift only
• Recent critical care experience required
• The following certifications must all be active and in hand at time of start: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT)
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital departments and care settings
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience in labor and delivery respiratory support
