Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves working within a high-caliber facility that performs complex cardiothoracic surgeries. The role requires coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license, BLS certification (American Heart Association), two years of acute care experience within the last three years in inpatient nursing, experience with Cardiothoracic Surgery or similar acuity adaptable areas, experience with complex surgeries including cardiothoracic procedures, experience working in level 1 or similar size hospitals.
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry exam proficiency, experience working with high-caliber surgical teams, prior experience in operating rooms performing complex cardiothoracic surgeries.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The candidate must pass strict pass/fail testing including a telemetry exam, with two attempts allowed. The facility is a Magnet-designated hospital, ranked Wisconsins #1 hospital, and is recognized as a leading medical and teaching institution.
