IT Support Specialist - Hudson Tunnel Project

Job Description Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Support Specialist to join our team on the premier Infrastructure project in the country. The role focuses on providing excellent user support, assisting with day‑to‑day IT operations, and learning from experienced team members in a modern, cloud‑first IT environment. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 support for IT systems, including: Windows 11 environments and Dell laptops. Cisco Meraki infrastructure (basic troubleshooting of switches, wireless access points, etc.). Microsoft 365 services: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune MDM. iOS device setup and management using Apple Business Manager. Assist with monitoring IT systems and escalating issues to Level 2 support or senior team members as needed. Support ticket resolution through Zendesk or similar platforms, ensuring timely responses and accurate documentation. Help maintain IT documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles. Perform basic asset management and inventory tracking. Promote security best practices and assist with endpoint management. Participate in training opportunities to develop technical skills and knowledge. Required Skills 1–2 years of IT support experience or equivalent coursework/internship experience. Basic knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange). Familiarity with IT ticketing systems like Zendesk or similar platforms. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the team. Experience working in a team environment. Desired Skills Exposure to Cisco Meraki systems or similar networking tools. Basic understanding of endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune. Familiarity with iOS device setup and management.
