Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Assigned shifts (block scheduling not available). Patient ratio: 5:1 with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries available on night shift.

Highlights:

• High-acuity medical surgical floor specializing in surgery and trauma care
• Diverse patient population including surgical, trauma, gunshot injuries, paraplegic, and quadriplegic patients
• EPIC electronic medical records system in use
• Collaborative team environment with nursing support staff, phlebotomy services, and comprehensive nurse handoff protocols
• Access to emergency department and admitting unit coordination for seamless patient transitions
• Minimum 2 years of surgery and trauma experience required

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license (or compact state license)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical and trauma nursing
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Surgery and trauma floor experience mandatory
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts as scheduled
