Product Manager

Title: Product Manager Location: Hybrid 2-3x reporting to Dallas preferred or McLean, VA Duration: 6 Months with possible extension Position Summary: This role will lead one or more focus teams within Analytics Product, managing the iterative development of data reporting tools and datasets throughout their product lifecycle. Unlike traditional software development, this position requires expertise in managing the unique lifecycle of data products, balancing both product and project management responsibilities. The role requires the ability to leverage resources effectively, address critical gaps across teams, prepare leadership and steering committee reviews, and manage stakeholder expectations regarding project progress and delivery timelines. Success in this role requires a strong interest in continuous learning as Commercial Analytics capabilities continue to evolve. Key Responsibilities: Partner with analytics, business, data, and external stakeholders to define and communicate the vision for Marketing, Loyalty, and MarTech data transformation initiatives, including timelines, opportunities, and potential challenges. Lead Marketing, Loyalty, and MarTech project and product management activities across multiple focus teams, including product definition, roadmap development, scope management, and budget oversight. Support value measurement processes by tracking and communicating the impact, adoption, and successes of data products. Serve as a Data Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance on requirements, business context, and data-related decisions. Collaborate with CRM, Digital, Loyalty, MarTech, and Marketing teams to identify business needs and determine the datasets and tools required to support strategic objectives. Review, prioritize, and manage data enhancement requests and ongoing development initiatives. Track and report project progress, define deliverables, and maintain transparency around delivery timelines. Proactively manage project scope changes, identify risks, and develop mitigation and contingency plans. Maintain regular communications with governance committees, leadership teams, and key stakeholders. Communicate project expectations, updates, and outcomes clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization. Apply analytical thinking to assess data, evaluate assumptions, and gather detailed information to support Marketing and Loyalty technology solutions. Incorporate emerging trends and innovative technologies into recommendations that enhance customer experience and business outcomes. Utilize creative problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. Partner closely with CRM teams on Master Data Management initiatives, including the implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP) as a centralized source of truth and identity resolution platform for MarTech systems. Develop an understanding of competitive capabilities and strategies within the dynamic content and MarTech landscape. Support the implementation of new data capabilities and coordinate integrations with existing Marketing and Loyalty platforms, ensuring successful transition to operational teams. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Four (4) years of professional experience driving project timelines and delivery performance for engineering, analytics, or technical initiatives. Four (4) years of experience creating, analyzing, and presenting management reports. Three (3) years of project and/or product management experience, including requirements gathering, roadmap development, risk assessment, and issue mitigation. Two (2) years of experience with data analysis, reporting, storytelling, modeling, or related disciplines. Strong risk management, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar platforms. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar applications. Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) or more years of professional experience. MBA or Master's degree in an analytics, business, technology, or related field. Experience working within Data & Analytics organizations as a Project Manager, Product Manager, or Product Owner. Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills. Experience collaborating directly with data engineers, analytics developers, cloud technology teams, and business stakeholders. Experience in the hospitality, travel, or related industry preferred.
