Summary:

Provides administrative and clerical support to a department to ensure efficient daily operations. Serves as a point of contact for the department, managing phone calls, correspondence, scheduling, and records with accuracy and confidentiality. Greets and directs patients, visitors and/or team members. Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas and meeting materials, and maintains departmental files and documentation. Assists leadership and staff with routine administrative tasks, data entry, and report preparation.

This particular Department Secretary position will be working on the Morton Plant Hospital Surgical Services team and will be performing high-volume phone calls and clerical tasks to schedule patients for outpatient testing, or other tasks required for patient up-coming surgeries.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Essential: HS Graduate or Equivalent GED Nonessential: Associates Degree Experience: Essential: Office
