Location Portland, Oregon. Time Commitment Approximately 32‑40 hours per week. Schedule Flexible— including nights, weekends, and holidays. The Role Hospitality Associate on the Portland Hospitality Team, serving as the heart of the onsite‑guest experience while combining physical presence with digital proficiency. Reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with Guest Experience and Property Operations teams. Day in the Life of a Kasa Hospitality Associate Guest Experience – Welcoming and assisting guests, handling check‑in, and addressing immediate needs or special requests. Local Expertise – Providing personalized local recommendations and insights. Operational Responsibilities Quality Assurance and Property Upkeep – Maintaining common areas, stocking coffee stations and concierge closets, performing quality checks with the TechTool Safety Culture after each clean. Readiness and Event Planning – Preparing for upcoming guest arrivals and organizing guest engagement events in coordination with housekeeping and maintenance. Guest Requests & Troubleshooting – Promptly addressing and resolving requests received through Breezeway or live guest issues such as cleanliness or technical challenges. Communication and Collaboration Team Coordination – Maintaining seamless communication with the remote Guest Experience team via Slack and Kustomer. Emergency Handling – Equipped to tackle emergencies such as lockouts or urgent requests. Qualifications Hospitality Experience – Minimum 2 years in hospitality, or 2 years in customer service if less hospitality experience. Guest Service Skills – At least 1 year in guest service roles. Tech‑Savvy – Strong affinity for technology, prior tech‑related tasks, and an interest in learning new systems. Flexibility – Availability for varied shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Transportation – Reliable transportation. Physical Capability – Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Consistent Under Pressure – Maintains composure and a positive outlook in high‑stress situations. Preferred Qualities Strong communication and organizational skills. Success Over the First Year Consecutively reach monthly quality goals. Set a high bar for quality standards and guest satisfaction. Create a strong resource for the team beyond property operations knowledge. Support cross‑departmental Kasa projects.
