Front Manager

The Front Manager is responsible for assisting in coordinating activities of workers engaged in selling food and alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Responsibilities include day-to-day supervision of all employees who work in the front of the house, ensuring compliance and maintaining knowledge and understanding of all federal, state and local employment laws, and enforcing the company's unlawful harassment and discrimination policies. The Front Manager must attend manager meetings and training sessions, work during weekends, holidays and peak business periods, and ensure excellence in guest satisfaction through commitment to a "Do whatever it takes attitude" and a hands-on, lead by example management style. Leadership skills and motivation of employees to ensure cost control and labor management are also required. Paperwork accuracy such as daily sales summary reports, petty cash reimbursement forms, and payroll records must be ensured.

Qualifications include a minimum age requirement of 21 years of age, at least 2 years of experience in restaurant management, strong knowledge of front of the house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, service techniques and improving guest experience, professional appearance and demeanor, and effective communication skills.
