Account Executive - Commercial Lines

About the Role

This role is designed to help lead a team that oversees a portfolio of captive clients in the commercial lines department of a successful retail insurance brokerage. The ideal candidate will exhibit many of the following attributes – ability to process information at a high level with deep dive analytics, possess knowledge of the inner workings of captive management and auditing, develop talent and manage team performance, and experience working with financial and regulatory reporting and compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted advisor and strategic leader to a team of client service associates for an assigned book of captive clients.
• Lead client, board, and stakeholder meetings, presenting complex financial and operational results while driving informed decision making.
• Provide executive oversight of financial reporting, regulatory filings, risk management activities, and domicile compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors, actuaries, legal counsel, regulators, and other service providers to support client and regulatory objectives.
• Support business growth through client retention and expansion efforts, proposal development, prospect engagement, industry participation, and though leadership initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• 7-10 years of experience working with captive insurance, insurance accounting, auditing, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance and captive management principles, along with auditing and risk management.
• CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI, or other relevant professional designations preferred.
• Occasional travel for meetings, conferences, or business-related functions.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

$120-140,000 + comprehensive benefits package + ability to work fully remote (preferably Eastern or Central time zone for work hours)
