Pay Rate: $2000 To $2124/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks


Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)


Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week


Experience: Minimum 1 year of Step-Down/Telemetry experience required


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical / Step-Down Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Rome, New York. This opportunity offers the chance to care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting while collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.


Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Medical Surgical/Step-Down unit
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Paragon and Pyxis systems while supporting safe, high-quality patient care
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements


Requirements
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1-2 years of Step-Down and Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be willing to float based on facility needs
• Experience with Paragon and Pyxis EMR systems is preferred
