We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team in a dual-modality role, performing both CT Scans and X-Rays. This opportunity allows you to work in the bustling city of New York, NY, known for its rich cultural history and vibrant lifestyle. We are looking to onboard the next traveler as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-rays in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including emergency departments and adult ICUs.
• Utilize Siemens equipment for imaging procedures.
• Handle a daily caseload of up to 20 patients, covering a range of age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Conduct various X-ray procedures, including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and both lower and upper extremities.
• Execute CT procedures with and without contrast, covering areas such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal trauma, brain perfusion, and vascular CTAs.
• Rotate across multiple departments within the hospital or in the private sector as needed.

Requirements

• ARRT – Radiography (R) and ARRT – CT certifications.
• New York State License (must have or provide ETA on issue date at the time of submission).
• IV Certification and BLS.
• Department of Health – New York (DOHNYS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is required; Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without the use of assistive devices.
• COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines are required with no exemptions.
• Must have two managerial references (Charge RN not acceptable).
• EKG testing may be required for certain units and must be completed within 72 hours of signing.

Schedule

• 4x9 shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Regular schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 PM to Midnight.
• Training schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
