Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work. Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians. Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Provide solutions for equipment failures to minimize downtime. Manages the repair, installation and maintenance of machinery, conveyors and equipment and the physical building to minimize downtime. Perform preventative maintenance on machinery. PLC troubleshooting Electrical troubleshooting, repair and install. Job Requirements Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role. Manage a team of mechanics. Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical process in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations. Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
