Your Role on the Team Position Summary The Unit Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing a broad range of clerical support functions in the nursing unit. Specific duties include performing reception functions, collecting and compiling patient data, assembling medical records, and assisting with patient admission and discharge. The coordinator performs routine patient care functions as needed and will perform other related duties as required. Required Qualifications Prior administrative/clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Preferred Qualifications Understanding of medical terminology and universal precautions Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support Conditions of Employment Background check and live scan Employment misconduct Legal right to work in the United States Vaccination policies Smoking and tobacco policy Drug‑free environment Misconduct disclosure requirement California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act E‑Verify Pre‑placement health evaluation Consideration for Work Authorization Sponsorship Must be able to provide proof of work authorization.
