Embedded Software Engineer (Avionics Electrical)We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer (Avionics Electrical) to support aircraft modifications, alterations, troubleshooting, and engineering activities. The role involves embedded software development, electrical design support, aircraft data analysis, diagnostic tool development, and sustaining engineering activities for aircraft systems. The engineer will work on advanced aircraft troubleshooting, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and development of engineering solutions to support aircraft performance and maintainability.Must Have Skills –Embedded Software - Embedded Software, Embedded Systems, FirmwareProgramming - C, C++, Software Development, DebuggingAvionics Systems - Avionics, Aircraft Systems, AerospaceAircraft Modifications - Aircraft Modifications, Electrical Modifications, Sustaining EngineeringDiagnostic Tools - Diagnostic Tools, Test Tools, Data Management ToolsTroubleshooting - Aircraft Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, RCCAData Analysis - Aircraft Data Analysis, Data Processing, Performance AnalysisElectrical Engineering - Electrical Design, Electrical Systems, Electronics EngineeringSoftware Lifecycle - SDLC, Software Testing, Verification, ValidationDevelopment Environment - Linux, MATLABConfiguration Management - Git, SVN, TFS, Version ControlCollaboration - Cross-Functional Teams, Supplier CoordinationKey ResponsibilitiesSupport aircraft modifications and alteration projects through electrical design and embedded software engineering activities.Develop, maintain, and enhance aircraft data management tools and diagnostic tools.Create and sustain aircraft configuration data (CMF) and related engineering data.Perform advanced aircraft troubleshooting using aircraft data analysis and detailed system knowledge.Conduct root cause analysis (RCCA) for aircraft system and component failures.Support upgrade development initiatives based on engineering analysis and findings.Analyze aircraft data to identify system issues and improvement opportunities.Develop and maintain software solutions supporting aircraft engineering functions.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues.Key Areas of ResponsibilityAircraft diagnostic tool development and maintenance.Embedded software development and coding.Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Aircraft data processing and analysis.Electrical design and modification engineering.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline.7+ years of relevant experience in embedded software engineering, avionics, electrical systems, or related fields.Strong coding/programming skills.Experience with software development, testing, and debugging.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
