Tax Attorney Specializing in Fund Formation

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Tax Attorney specializing in fund formation to join their team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have experience representing fund sponsors and investors, with a focus on venture and private equity funds. Duties Advise on investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures. Manage multiple ongoing matters with strong client relations skills. Demonstrate high motivation and excellent problem-solving abilities. Requirements 2-5 years of tax experience in fund formation. Experience with venture funds and private equity funds preferred. Strong client relations and multitasking skills. High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. Education Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois. Skills Excellent problem-solving and initiative-taking abilities. Strong communication and client management skills.
