Robert Half is partnering with a highly regarded international law firm seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with 4-7 years of experience to join its growing insurance practice in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to work with sophisticated insurance coverage matters, collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices, and build your career within a respected and established firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with complex third-party liability insurance coverage matters
- Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and client communications
- Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, coverage opinions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other proceedings
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on national and international matters
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing
- 4-7 years of insurance coverage litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience managing cases with minimal supervision
- Excellent advocacy, presentation, and client relationship skills
- Ability to handle a busy caseload and work effectively in a team environment
