Creative Project Manager

Our client, a leading medical center in Brooklyn, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Creative Project Manager to drive the execution of creative initiatives across the organization. This role is critical to delivering high-volume, complex projects and working closely with Strategy, Communications, and Web/Digital teams. The ideal candidate is a process-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings structure, clarity, and efficiency to creative workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Location: Hybrid (1–2 days/week onsite in Brooklyn preferred)
- Type: Contract (35 hours/week)
- Rate: $50/hour
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement a project management platform to enhance workflow efficiency and team collaboration
- Audit existing processes and identify opportunities to optimize systems, documentation, and workflows
- Manage the full project lifecycle from intake through creative development, production, and final delivery
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on-time and on-scope delivery
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including designers, production artists, and external vendors
- Ensure high-quality execution across print, digital, and promotional materials
- Act as the primary point of contact for project status, proactively communicating updates, risks, and solutions
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of project management experience within a creative agency or in-house marketing/creative team (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel projects across print, digital, video, and social
- Strong experience working cross-functionally with strategy, creative, and production teams
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Jira
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Familiarity with regulatory or compliance considerations in healthcare marketing
- Experience standing up or optimizing project management systems from scratch
