Locations Hospital - Towson, 6501 N. Charles Street, Towson, MD 21204, USA Pay Range Hourly Range: $18.50 USD to $24.09 USD Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to years and level of related experience. Description You will play a crucial role in the Food & Nutritional Services Department preparing food for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Prepare food for patients, staff, and visitors by following standard recipes. Set up equipment, measure ingredients, and set and monitor pressure/temperature gauges. Clean and maintain work area in a neat and sanitary condition. Required Experience & Qualifications High school or GED plus at least 6 months of experience in quality/batch cooking. Interpersonal skills sufficient to exchange cooking information and perform other activities requiring ordinary courtesy. Concentration and attention to detail. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift objects under 10 lbs. 2-5 years of large-scale batch scratch cooking experience (preferred). Team player: works well as a member of a group. Dedicated: devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity.
