Job Title: General Production Worker Shift** Saturday- Monday 6am-6pm

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will operate and maintain production lines to established standards. You will be responsible for meeting productivity benchmarks, fully utilizing all ISO procedures, and completing required documentation. You will troubleshoot quality or productivity issues and make necessary adjustments to the machinery. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to suggest process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the assigned production line to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Prepare for roll production, doff rolls, package rolls, and manage line start-ups.
• Understand and fully utilize all ISO procedures.
• Complete required documentation such as patrols, housekeeping sheets, and doff quality coding.
• Troubleshoot issues related to quality or productivity involving the team or machinery.
• Make necessary adjustments to machinery as required.
• Suggest improvements to processes or procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and general production.
• Ability to operate and maintain assigned lines, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Proficiency in assembly and machine operation.

Work Environment

The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects or tools. You may need to lift or move up to 35 pounds and frequently climb up to three levels above floor level. The work environment includes exposure to prevalent weather conditions, dust, heat, humidity, odors, and high-speed machinery. Hearing protection is required in certain areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Old Hickory, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Old Hickory,TN.
