Account Delivery Strategist

Job DescriptionEverforth ECS is seeking an Account Delivery Strategist to work in our Arlington, VA office. We are seeking a Sr. Delivery Strategist and thought leader to engage directly with customers in early-stage, high-ambiguity (“Greenfield”) environments and help translate mission needs into clear, actionable strategies. This role is responsible for bringing order to chaos- building deep customer relationships, leading strategic discovery efforts, and developing structured outputs that guide vision, strategy, and implementation. The ideal candidate thrives in the “gray space” and is equally comfortable facilitating executive conversations, shaping proactive strategic direction, and enabling teams to execute against defined priorities.This is a senior, individual contributor role with significant customer-facing responsibility and influence across both customer and internal teams. This role will partner alongside the Account Growth lead. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Relationship BuildingEstablish trust and credibility with customers in early-stage or undefined environmentsEngage stakeholders at multiple levels to understand mission needs, priorities, and constraintsNavigate varying customer perspectives and levels of readiness for changeServe as a primary strategic sounding board and trusted advisor for senior stakeholders, providing informed recommendations and guidanceBalance subject matter expertise with a collaborative, customer-centered approach to shape narrativesChallenge assumptions and guide customers toward highly-effective, forward-leaning solutionsStrategic Discovery & Problem DefinitionLead conversations that uncover true customer needs, pain points, and desired outcomesApply active listening, facilitation, and analytical techniques to clarify ambiguous problemsAssess organizational readiness and risk tolerance to inform strategic directionFacilitate workshops, working sessions, and collaborative discussions (virtual and in-person) using multiple communication modalities to drive clarity and alignmentVision, Strategy, and Implementation DevelopmentTranslate customer insights into structured outputs including Vision statements, Strategic priorities, Strategic Implementation Roadmaps, Frameworks, Diagrams and ModelsDevelop clear, actionable activity-based artifacts that enable execution by federal and consultant delivery teamsEnsure alignment between mission objectives, organizational capabilities, and proposed solutionsDrive and Support Strategy ImplementationProvide hands-on support for the development and implementation of implementation plans aligned to defined strategiesCoach team members on strategic thinking, customer engagement, and artifact developmentValidate ECS and customer understanding through incremental deliverables and feedback loopsRefine strategies collaboratively with customers to ensure alignment and clarity and continuously adapt deliverable outputs based on evolving customer needsSalary Range: $200,000 - $250,000General Description of BenefitsJob RequirementsMust be a US CitizenMust be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance10+ years of progressive experience in consulting, strategy, advisory, or customer-facing rolesExperience supporting DHS, CISA or other federal government agencies Demonstrated ability to understand, resolve and communicate technical and business issues; ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users Experience influencing executive leadership and setting expectations for cross functional initiatives  Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or undefined environmentsAbility to function effectively in an energetic, fast paced environment while maintaining excellent systems of organization, focus, and attention to detail Ability to facilitate strategy discussions and translate content into relevant and actional deliverables.
