Lead Bartender
Lady Delilah, coming to New York City this Fall, is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Bartender. The Lead Bartender will work closely with in-venue management to ensure that the bar maintains The h.wood Group's standards of excellence in regards to attitude, customer service, beverage quality, employee relations, and job performance. The position looks for an individual with an energetic and professional attitude and a strength in multitasking. They must be well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include maintaining updated cocktail and liquor menus in conjunction with in-venue management, maintaining accurate inventory data and overseeing the receipt of all liquor and related supplies in conjunction with in-venue management, coordinating all weekly ordering in consultation with management, leading all new hire beverage training in consultation with in-venue managers, ensuring compliance of all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and bar equipment, assisting in cocktail development for seasonal and trend changes, performing all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction, handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register, performing all opening and closing duties, and performing other related duties as assigned. The Lead Bartender will also attend monthly meetings with the beverage director.
Requirements include a valid NY Food Handlers Card, attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service, the ability to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting, being 21+ years of age, being authorized to work in the United States, high energy, great communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, reliability, responsibility, trustworthiness, the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment, and excellent time management skills.
