Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Registered Intern)

Job Description Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups to promote mental health and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in the field Qualifications Current licensure as a Mental Health Professional or Registered Intern number provided by the Florida Department of Health (Mandatory) Experience working with diverse populations, including pediatrics Proficiency in conducting assessments and screening tools Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including group therapy and psychotherapy Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation Familiarity with coding and billing procedures for insurance reimbursement Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
