Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a busy operating room.
• EPIC electronic health record experience is required.
• Experience in high-acuity OR environments performing general, orthopedic, and open-heart (cardiac) procedures is required.
• Ability and willingness to take call. On-call schedule includes one night every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks.
• Ability to work extended day hours dependent on caseload; availability to cover shifts that may extend into evening hours.
• Flexibility to work alternative schedules if requested by the client (examples of schedules include four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts). These are preferred scheduling options but not guarantees.

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Hours: 06:30–19:00.
• Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call required.
• Must be able to cover late shifts; client requests coverage until 19:00.
• OR experience required; busy operating room supporting cases including open heart, orthopedic, and other surgical specialties.
• EPIC experience required by client.
