Job Description:
Certified Surgical Tech will provide clinical support in the Operating Room. This role requires expertise in various surgical procedures and familiarity with aseptic technique.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environment
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating nurse
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of surgical instruments
- Collaborate with surgical team for efficient patient care
- Care for and manage specimens collected during procedures
Requirements:
- Epic experience preferred
- 2+ years of surgical tech experience
- 1 previous travel contract
- Plastics, general, ortho, ENT, neuro experience preferred but not required
- NBSTSA certification required
- BLS certification required
