Job Summary And Qualifications You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all phases of nursing care provided on the program You will determine staffing requirements and material resources necessary to provide care to the patients on the program You will provide supervision, assessment and evaluation of, the competence and performance of the nursing personnel You will demonstrate expertise in mental health promotion and maintenance of high quality, comprehensive patient care What qualifications you will need Possess a thorough knowledge of current behavioral health concepts, principles and methods of treatment. Good communication skills a must for this position Possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing Five years of registered psychiatric nursing, experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree Prefer two years of psychiatric nursing experience as a registered nurse in the specialty area of psychiatry, one of which was in a supervisory capacity Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Nevada BLS certification required CPI certification within 30 days of hire Apply for our Behavioral Health Nurse Manager role today!
