Desired Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy in Arizona
- Prior experience working as an occupational therapist in educational settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development and goal writing
- Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring for K-12 populations
- Excellent communicator with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' OT needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to integrate OT into daily school routines
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team goal planning
