Field Service Technician (Atlanta, GA)

Field Support EngineerBD Parata is currently seeking a Field Support Engineer in the Atlanta, GA area. The Field Support Engineer will provide in depth technical and customer support of BD Parata's suite of pharmacy automation products. In this role you will travel regionally to provide industry leading support and service to Pharmacies in multiple types of environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver outstanding customer service and technical problem resolution at client sitesMaintain equipment and proactively resolve potential issues to improve uptimeTrain customers on operation and maintenance of pharmacy automation systemsRespond to service requests within SLA requirementsCollaborate with service teams to resolve sophisticated technical issuesAssist with new automation installations as neededDocument issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service LightningProvide product feedback to drive continuous improvementWork independently with minimal directionRequirementsHigh School diplomas plus 3-5 years field service experienceStrong customer service orientationProficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of computer networking, router/switch configuration, and file managementStrong mechanical proficiency and ability to use hand tools for sophisticated equipment serviceExperience with digital multi-meters and electrical testing equipmentSQL knowledge a plus PreferredAssociate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology preferredPhysical RequirementsDaily car travel (average 4 hours per day) with occasional air travelAbility to lift/carry up to 50 pounds frequently, 100 pounds occasionallyStand for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours when necessary)We ProvideFleet vehicleCorporate credit card for expensesCompany laptop and phoneComplete tool kitComprehensive benefits packageAt BD, we prioritize on-site teamwork because we believe it develops creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
